Hi again! My name is Sharifah Shaliza, but you can call me “Sha” for short.
I am the founder of Coaching with Sha (CwS) and a certified Mindfulness & Self-Leadership Coach from Jay Shetty Certification School, and now on the journey of getting myself accredited by the Association for Coaching.
I am very passionate about personal transformation and personal mastery because for the first 40-years of my life, I was living without personal mastery, without healthy self-awareness, mindfulness. Therefore, the first 40-years of my life was filled with perpetual chaos, mini and major heartbreaks, scapegoated without even realizing it, saying sorry just to make things better for everyone (although it wasn't my fault!), feeling angry and depressed, in deep melancholy, taken for granted, boundaries violated from left right and centre, and the list goes on. To sum it up simply, my life was pure DRAMA.
What I failed to see throughout all those years was that I was involved in each scenario...regardless if the chaos originated from me, or from people around me, I WAS THERE, and because of that, I could make a difference to my OWN LIFE. After suffering a major heartbreak that brought me down to my knees, feeling so angry, frustrated, and shouting at the sky, I decided to take responsibility for my life, as I was FED-UP with my own life patterns, FED-UP with MYSELF! So I reached out and got some help...I took up a self-love healing coaching journey with a lovely lady...and from then on...personal development has become my middle name, and self-responsibility that is laced with self-love and integrity became my world. As how people usually end their stories, the rest is now history :)
But seriously, there is nothing more rewarding than understanding oneself because, when we know ourselves, we somehow learn to know and understand others (we also learn to intelligently avoid some too!). This amazing skill, being able to observe oneself without judgment opens up a new ray of perception and invokes the ability to regulate our own emotions (and learn to manage those narcissists in the process!) and able to manage a change process. In other words, we increase our Emotional Intelligence through deep understanding our ourselves, and using others as our mirror, we apply what we know and understand to each situation, to each person, by creating healthy boundaries that promotes self-love, self trust, and self-integrity.
Therefore, it is my personal mission to hold space of positive possibilities for you, through deep listening and providing a non-judgmental environment that creates new pathways in your body, mind and soul.
Remember, in this time of age, information and knowledge is no longer powerful, and what is indeed powerful is the APPLICATION and INTEGRATION of our knowledge and its understandings.
As a certified Mindfulness & Self-Leadership coach, it is my personal and professional duty to uphold the highest standards that a coaching service can humanly provide.
As a proud alumni of Jay Shetty Certification School that is accredited by the Association for Coaching (AC), and as part of the regulated coaching industry, I abide by the Global Code of Ethics for Coaches and Mentors.
As such, my coaching approach and methodologies are based on Jay Shetty's signature coaching framework (the image on the right), that blends scientific models with positive psychology, neuroscience, traditional coaching theories and tools, and underpinned by ancient and time timeless philosophies and teachings.
As a professionally trained and experienced life coach, I have the tools and understanding to help you to create the life you imagine and get a renewed sense of self.
Therefore the goals of my coaching practice for you are:
1. Increased Emotional Intelligence
To increase your ability to identify and manage your own emotions and others. Mainly, it's about understanding your own feelings, and learning how to regulate and react to them. It all begins with the self first, and then others.
2. Increased Self-Knowledge
When you know and understand yourself, you can understand others. This can be achieved through deep conversations and contemplations in our coaching sessions so you become skilful in recognizing and managing your own emotions through increased self-awareness, self-regulation, and motivation.
3. Increased Self-Trust
To increase your ability to understand and correctly evaluate the feelings and intentions of others through deep and thoughtful contemplation of any scenario of life that you experience.
When self-knowledge and understanding is high, we will be able to be intentional when choosing who you want to interact with, and who you want to bring into your life. You become the CEO of your own life and your life is awesome because of that! Furthermore, with healthy self-awareness, you are able to manage change in your life, self-regulate, and able to self-motivate with ease and grace.
